IDIOREVOLT comes from a collaborative project that challenged our group to assemble a band within a tight six-week timeframe.
Our group was uniquely diverse, with members who collectively spoke eight different languages, we conceptualized and developed our song, "Lost in Translation." The narrative follows a central character on a ques
t to explore the five love languages, each expressed in a distinct verbal language, in the aftermath of a breakup.
In this project, my primary responsibilities were styling the characters and the development of the zine.
We also wrote the song which draws inspiration from the diverse cultural backgrounds and primary languages of each member. We seamlessly weave the eight different languages into the fabric of the song, exploring the theme of not sharing the same 'love language' as our closest individuals. This exploration delves into the intricate interplay between verbal and non-verbal modes of expression.
