Through the "Do you want to share my pain?" booklet, my goal was to highlight the hidden struggles of female illnesses and encourage women to share their stories without shame or discomfort. Unfortunately, in Italy, conditions like vulvodynia, endometriosis, pelvic pain, and fibromyalgia aren't widely acknowledged as legitimate illnesses. Women frequently encounter skepticism from doctors, leading to the need for multiple medical visits before a diagnosis is obtained. This process can be financially and emotionally draining.
